AAL Systems Limited is a British SME with origins in 1977.
The Company concentrates on geographical data information processing,
positioning products to best help Clients create the services and applications
appropriate to their needs.
There are more than 200
man-years of GIS development experience vested in the staff of AAL
who also boast programming experience from early operating systems to modern .NET implementations.
Database experience also covers the major database technologies -
SQLServer, Oracle and MySQL.
In 2009 AAL Systems Limited was formed as the Company
entity, wholly encompassing the assets and liabilities, contracts and policies
of the original Axis Software Systems and Assist Applications Limited.
AAL has core staff members
and several expert part-time staff and contractors.
The Company has no “office” – all staff work from home and are covered by
regulations for Heath
and Safety for Home-Workers.
AAL has four Directors with equal shareholdings who are
all active in the day-to-day running of the Company.
The administration of the Company utilises internet based servers and IP
telephony.
Members of the Company have long been involved at a national level
in various organisations and groups and we like to think that we have
influenced, in a quiet but positive
way, the processes recommended by central government and other relevant organisations.
AAL Systems have three strategic positions:
- providing components for clients to
create their corporate GIS environment
as their business cases dictate. The
service delivery of information derived
from existing data sources but aligned
and delivered to the end-user in a
digestable form is a primary function of
the products.
- providing GIS application development
tools so that clients can quickly create
meaningful, business critical systems
alongside the specialised provisions of
application software.
- providing expertise on the creation and use
of geographical information and the
frameworks required for data efficiency
aligned to national and european edicts.
